Mrs. Howard is a Senior Vice President with the Jones Lang LaSalle Southeast Multifamily Team. Based in Charlotte, she is responsible for advising institutional and private clients in the disposition and capitalization of multi-family assets in North and South Carolina. Andrea joined the team in February of 2013.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Andrea was Senior Vice President of Multi-Family Investments in charge of acquisitions and dispositions with Grubb Properties, a private real estate company based in Charlotte, and active throughout North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. At Grubb, she was responsible for managing broker and seller relationships, sourcing and preparing detailed underwriting models and assessments of opportunities relative to market comparables, negotiating Purchase and Sale Agreements, performing due diligence, presenting and preparing comprehensive investment committee packages, raising equity capital, obtaining debt financing, monitoring target market fundamentals, coordinating with internal team members and closing acquisition opportunities. During her tenure at Grubb, Andrea was instrumental in transactions totaling 1,536 units representing $126,000,000 in multi-family assets from 2010 through 2012.
Prior to her tenure at Grubb, Andrea was Vice President of Investments at Camden Property Trust from 2000 through 2009, which she joined through the merger with Summit Properties. At Camden, she was directly involved in over $1.7 Billion in acquisition and disposition transactions across numerous markets with a concentration in the Southeast U.S. Andrea started her career as a Financial Analyst in the Real Estate Capital Markets group at First Union.
Mrs. Howard earned a BS from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Finance, Magna Cum Laude. In addition, Andrea was a four year member of the Softball team and recognized as an All-American Scholar Athlete.
