Based at JLLs Chicago downtown office, Phil Geiger is an Executive Vice President specializing in tenant representation only. Phil joined the Chicago office in 2007 after spending three years in JLLs Boston, Massachusetts office.
In 2007, Phil joined one of the most successful tenant representation teams in the City of Chicago who were honored with Crains Chicago Business; Broker of the Year Award, 2005, 2007 and 2008.
Phil uses his market intelligence to leverage multiple market alternatives for his clients in order to negotiate the best economic terms available. His on the ground market knowledge has assisted in helping his clients in acquisition and lease disposition strategies as well as aligning these strategies with core objectives. His foremost objective is to assist his clients in creatively solving some of the efficiency issues faced by many organizations in todays changing economic environment. Since 2010, Phil has worked with some of the more notable non-profits in Chicago. He has ample experience bridging the gap and building consensus amongst senior leadership and board members. Notable non profit clients include, School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1 million square foot real estate portfolio leased and owned), Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), Catapult Technology Incubator, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago, Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund, Openlands, Lloyd A. Fry Foundation and Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. Phil currently lives in Wilmette with his wife and two young children.
