David L. McKee, a Senior Vice President with the Columbus office of Jones Lang LaSalle, works as a tenant advocate with local and national office and industrial tenants to negotiate the best solutions for their real estate needs while minimizing the financial exposure and business risk of their decisions. Mr. McKee has focused exclusively on tenant advocacy since joining The Staubach Company in 2003 and carrying through to date following Staubachs merger with JLL.
Mr. McKee is responsible for representing clients in facility and site acquisition. His responsibilities include business development, strategic implementation, market research and coordination, with a special emphasis on financial analysis and lease review and negotiation. His well-developed technical knowledge of the real estate process gives him a broad understanding of the important principles that must be incorporated into a transaction. A native of Columbus, Mr. McKees prior experience includes thirteen years as President of NBL Development Group, developer of an upscale, private golf course and residential community in Dayton, Ohio. The project, Country Club of the North, consisted of 410 acres including an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and over 100 high end residential homes. While directing the development, management and operation of the club, he was also responsible for all development and sales functions for the projects residential component.
