Mr. Whitman specializes in agency leasing and tenant representation in the Dallas/Southwest market. On behalf of shopping center owners and investors, he is responsible for developing and executing leasing strategies to maximize each property's full potential. Additionally, he helps retailers identify and secure optimal locations to reach customers and drive value for their organization. Mr. Whitman has strong local market knowledge and retail experience to help clients meet their overall asset and business objectives. Due to his experience in agency leasing and tenant representation, Mr. Whitman has been able to develop and maintain strong retailer relationships at the national, regional and local level.
Mr. Whitman has 14 years of experience and previously worked for Jones Lang LaSalle in office brokerage supporting and representing clients in office real estate transactions. His responsibilities included servicing accounts, performing market research, lease negotiations, financial analysis and new business development. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Whitman was the CEO for Wave Sports & Outdoors, a multi-million dollar brand in the most competitive sector of the fishing industry, soft plastics. He managed all facets of day-to-day operations, developed and implanted business strategies, and worked with clients such as Wal-Mart and Bass Pro Shops with developing their programs and new product ventures. Mr. Whitman also previously was employed with Hall of Fame Racing and with AMCI & Emotion as a sales and marketing consultant.
Mr. Whitman earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Dallas Baptist University. He holds a real estate license in the state of Texas.
