Ms. Ford is Vice President and Leasing Specialist for Jones Lang LaSalle Retail, where she is responsible for overall development and execution of leasing strategies for retail projects throughout the Southwest. Additionally, Ms. Ford is responsible for developing and maintaining strong retailer relationships.
Previously, Ms. Ford served as National Director for Jones Lang LaSalle (European) Retail in Moscow, Russia. She was responsible for the management of existing Russia business client relationships, overseeing the leasing team, and delivery of project leasing targets. Ms. Ford also acted as a liaison with International retailers, worked with the Regional Capital Markets team and the Retail Consulting team on client reports, projects and the provision of market data. During her two-year tenure in Moscow, she also created and implemented training programs for the retail leasing team on negotiations; communication; selling techniques and the process of implementation of strategic merchandising and leasing planning. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Ms. Ford served as Senior Leasing Representative for General Growth Properties with responsibilities for the leasing and remerchandising efforts associated with three regional malls. During her tenure at General Growth Properties, Ms. Ford was recognized as one of the Top 10 Producers, and the only third-party leasing representative to be honored with the accomplishment. Ms. Ford has also served as National Retail Leasing Manager for L&B Realty Advisors in Dallas, Texas; Leasing Representative for the Zale Corporation in Irving, Texas and additionally, has experience as a paralegal for both the Zale Corporation and The Lehndorff Group.
Ms. Ford earned a bachelor of arts degree in marketing from Dallas Baptist University as well as a Paralegal Certification from the University of Texas at Tyler. Ms. Ford is a Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) a designation earned from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and she is a licensed real estate salesperson in the states of Texas and New Mexico
