Thomas B. DiMicelli joined JLLs Brokerage Group as a Senior Vice President, National Director in January 2011. Mr. DiMicelli is a 34-year expert in the Long Island commercial real estate market who leads the industrial team in the firms Long Island office in Melville, N.Y. Mr. DiMicelli focuses on sales and leasing of industrial properties throughout Long Island. During his career, he has completed in excess of 20 million square feet of sales and leasing transactions on behalf of landlords and occupiers.
Mr. DiMicelli has successfully negotiated hundreds of sale and lease transactions for local, national, and Fortune 500 companies as well as investors and owners. His clients include such distinguished firms as Time Equities, Inc., The Luxottica Group, Maurice Villency, Inc. and Restaurant Depot. During his career, Mr. DiMicelli has been a three-time recipient of Long Islands Most Ingenious Deal of The Year Award; the only broker in the history of the award to receive it three times. He received his first award for the sale of the former Northrop Grumman headquarters facility in Holtsville, NY to Symbol Technologies, Inc. (now Zebra Technologies), the second for the sale of the 179,000 SF former Bristol Myers Squibb facility in Garden City, N.Y., and most recently, he received the 2013 award for the sale of the 186,000 SF former Newsday plant in Melville, which is now the site of a 260-unit senior condo development
Mr. DiMicelli was named Top Gun for 2012 and 2013 at JLL, a title which is awarded to the top 10% of the sales force, was named a Gold Achiever for 2014, 2015 and 2016, and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2015. He was a Partner at Corporate National Realty for the prior 20 years and received the Salesman of the Year award nine times during this period.
During his career, Tom has been a two time recipient of Long Islands Most Ingenious Deal Of The Year Award.
He received his first award for the sale of the former Northrop Grumman headquarters facility in Holtsville, NY to Symbol Technologies, Inc. (now Motorola).
He was also a member of the team that successfully sold the 179,000 square foot former Bristol Myers Squibb facility in Garden City, N.Y.
Mr. DiMicelli is a graduate of Rutgers College with a bachelors degree in Organizational Communications. Mr. DiMicelli is a member of Long Islands Commercial Industrial Broker Society. He also serves on the Board of Directors for LINCS, the Long Island Network of Community Services, a charitable organization providing various services on Long Island.
