Austin Bettar currently oversees the leasing of a portfolio of more than 1.8-million-square- feetof space in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties.
His clients include General Growth, Shapell Industries, Lupert Adler, Rothbart Development, Donahue Schriber, Terramar Retail Centers and Realty Income, as well as individual investors.
Austin joined the Wilson Retail Group in 2011 where he oversees a portfolio of 1.8 million square feet of properties.
Prior to this he was with NewMark Merrill, responsible for leasing a portfolio of 943,000 square feet located in Orange, Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
In addition, he was on the consulting team overseeing the repositioning of two power centers in Sacramento and San Leandro.
From 2000 through 2005, Austin was the Director of Leasing for O & S Holdings, a Los Angeles based commercial developer. He was responsible for overseeing the leasing for the companys new and existing neighborhood, specialty, power and lifestyle/entertainment centers in California, Louisiana and Alabama.
Prior to O & S Holdings, Mr. Bettar was with CB Richard Ellis and Charles Dunn Company.
Austin attended California State University, Northridge.
He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
