Peter Kay works with landlords, owners and developers leasing regional, grocer-anchored, mixed-use and promotional shopping centers throughout Southern California. He also is part of the team that is overseeing Daiso Japans expansion in Los Angeles County.
Peter joined Wilson Retail Group (WRG) in 2006 after spending two years as a leasing representative at Westwood Financial Corporation.
He served as Vice President in Landlord representation in the leasing of regional; grocery-anchored; mixed-use and promotional shopping centers, throughout Southern California.
Peter represents an extensive list of shopping center owners and developers (including Regency Centers; Ralphs; Rothbart Development and RPAI) and personally oversees approximately 15 major retail center listings, accounting for a total of roughly 2.5 million square feet of gross leasable area.
As well, he is part of the retail team overseeing Daiso Japans expansion into Southern California, specifically, sites in Los Angeles County.
Prior to transitioning into commercial real estate in 2004, Peter spent nine years in the private banking sector. His professional banking career began at Bank of America in Richmond, Virginia where he served as a mortgage analyst.
Upon his transfer to the West Coast, he was promoted to senior treasury management analyst at the companys headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles.
Peter then transferred to City National Banks Entertainment Division in Beverly Hills, CA where he served as a credit analyst. There he was an integral part of a team of professionals representing some of the entertainment industrys top business management firms, talent agencies and production companies.
Peter graduated from Radford University in Virginia in May 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and holds a California Department of Real Estate Salesperson license.
He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
