Mr. Kraus advises his clients in the development and implementation of real estate strategic plans that connect with the overall operational and risk management structure of their firm. He works with his clients to craft "business solutions" that support their growth objectives as well as their risk management requirements.

Prior to The Staubach Companys July, 2008 merger with Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Kraus worked for six (6) years as a Principal with Staubach. Prior to his employment with Staubach, he invested in listed equities and investment partnerships, as well as founded MarketPlayer.com, an equity investment website of which CNBC owned 25%. With this success, he developed an extensive network of contacts in the asset management, hedge fund and investment banking community. He spent over thirteen years as a broker with Cushman & Wakefield, creating an impressive client portfolio that included Pfizer, Inc., Minerals Technologies, Inc., Martha Stewart Living, The Ford Foundation and Time, Inc. Sales transactions included 850 Third Avenue, 260 Madison Avenue and 261 Madison Avenue. He also acted as a leasing agent for 595 Madison Avenue, 575 Fifth Avenue and 1212 Avenue of the Americas.
Clients include: American Arbitration Association, ABN AMRO, Aviva USA, Berkley Insurance, Bessemer Trust, Estee Lauder, Exxon Mobil, Forstmann Little, General Reinsurance, Kingdon Capital Management, Lexmark International, Loeb, Block & Partners, Marsh & McLennan, Mitsubishi International Corporation, RBC Carlin Financial Group, Tyco, Water Fall Asset Management and the sale of the 300,000 sf United States Post Office facility at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway.
In November 2008, Mr. Kraus was the recipient, along with his Partners, Brian Higgins and Jay Koster, of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Fairfield County Lease of the Year for the relocation of General Res world headquarters, with its 20-year net lease of 315,000 square feet at 120 Long Ridge Road.
Mr. Kraus received his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance & Marketing and a minor in International Relations from Lehigh University.
Mr. Kraus is active in The Spence School Parents Association, provides professional services to the Robin Hood Foundation and its grantee organizations, serves on the Executive Committee of The Murray H. Goodman Center for Real Estate Studies at Lehigh University and is Chairman of the Board of the Democracy Prep. Charter School.
