Whit Hunter is a Senior Vice President for JLL in the Philadelphia office. Whit delivers exceptional services and solutions to owners, occupiers and investors. With experience in both tenant representation and agency leasing, Whit minimizes costs and optimizes efficiency for tenants and provides owners with market expertise to maximize their return on investment.
With over 24 years of experience in Philadelphia area commercial real estate, Whit has had the privilege of representing a broad range of corporations and institutional clients in various Philadelphia area markets, developing occupancy strategies and implementing solutions. Whit also has led the leasing teams of several complex Philadelphia area properties, improving occupancy and increasing activity consistently. This unique perspective, combining both the landlords and tenants, has been instrumental to Whits success. Whit has been nominated several times for Philadelphias deal of the year award and has been recognized frequently by CoStar as a Power Broker and by JLL as a Top Achiever.
Prior to joining JLL 10 years ago, Whit was with The Binswanger Company for 10 years and began his real estate career after college with The Helmsley Greenfield Company.
Whit holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Villanova University and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from Denison University, located in Granville, Ohio. Whit maintains an Associate Real Estate Broker license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Whit is a past President of the Tri-State Commercial Realtors Alliance and has served as a Board Director for over five years. Whit is also a past member of the Board of Counselors of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. He is a frequent speaker at real estate industry events.
