Karsten Peterson specializes in

existing projects and new ground-up development. His client and
asset representation base is diversified and includes both institutional and
entrepreneurial ownership groups with assignments ranging from 2,000,000 s.f. mixed use corporate business parks to
multi-tenant 40,000 s.f. suburban office
Karsten draws on 29 years of
experience in Arizona agency and tenant representation. He and his team
have targeted their career efforts on the Southeast Metropolitan Phoenix area
concentrating on the Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Sky Harbor Airport, and
southeast Phoenix submarkets. His team is known by both clients and
competitors alike as the preeminent office / back office brokerage group
practicing in this area. His transaction experience includes over 2,800
transactions that range as large as 900,000 s.f. He has a historical
transaction value in excess of $2.0 billion, and annually participates in
approximately 100 transactions averaging approximately 1,200,000 s.f. Samplings of current and past
clients include Travelers, DBR, Invesco, LBA, Liberty Property Trust, Opus,
Columbia Property Trust, LaSalle Investment Management, Principal Global
Investors, Arizona State University, Catellus, DaVita, Countrywide Home Loans, Ryan Companies and Castle & Cooke.
Prior to joining JLL, Karsten was
with Insignia/ESG, Trammell Crow Company, and Cushman & Wakefield.
Karsten attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a dual major of Business Management and Marketing from Northern Arizona University, and a Masters of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Real Estate from Arizona State University. He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Karsten is a 9-time CoStar Power Broker, an 8-time nominee for NAIOP's Broker of the Year and his team won the 2013 RED Award for Brokerage Team of the Year Office Leasing.
