Grant has more than seven years of experience in the San Diego Life Sciences market, where he has worked with numerous biotech companies and landlords. Prior to his career as a life science specialist, Grant was part of a team at a local development firm where his efforts where focused on land entitlement, commercial development and project management. Grant's commercial brokerage career began with Colliers International, where he worked on a three-person team that specialized in the San Diego Life Sciences market. Since joining JLL in 2010, Grant has continued to specialize in the Life Science sector, having completed over 1.7 million square feet of lease and sale transactions with a total value of over $225 million.

Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, where he attended on an Evans Scholarship. During his time as an Evans Scholar, Grant served as Administrative Vice President, Social Chair and Scholastic Chair and received acknowledgments that included, Senior of the Year and Chapter Representative for the National Committee meeting.
Grant and his wife have two children and are active members in their church, participating in various ministry opportunities throughout the city of San Diego.
