As Managing Director at JLL, Kevin Mechelke provides real estate advisory and brokerage services to clients throughout the United States. He focuses on tenant representation and specializes in managing real estate portfolios of Fortune 1000 companies.
Kevin has distinguished himself by negotiating innovative, value-added solutions on behalf of his clients and represents numerous corporations on their real estate interests throughout the United States, including Travelers Insurance, CSAA Insurance Group, John Muir Health, State Compensation Insurance Fund, Robert Half and Envision Healthcare. In the last year, he negotiated over fifty transactions on behalf of his clients for over one million square feet of property.
Prior to joining JLL, Kevin was a Senior Vice President and Principal at The Staubach Company, where he played a leadership role in Staubachs Northern Californias Corporate Services Group.
Kevin worked for Cushman & Wakefield's office brokerage group for three years and Accenture, the world's largest management consulting firm, for nearly a decade. While at Accenture, he served numerous Fortune 500 clients in a variety of capacities, including real estate advisory, business process engineering, and mergers & acquisitions. Kevin was an executive in Accenture's Global Retail Practice and specialized in serving corporate real estate departments, working with companies such as Gap, Inc., Best Buy, and McDonald's. He played a leadership role in defining Accenture's "Reinventing Real Estate" market offering, which enabled clients to create shareholder value by supporting the real estate operations with world class business processes and technology.
Kevin earned his bachelor of science in Civil Engineering at Santa Clara University. He has served on Santa Clara University's Engineering Alumni Board and has volunteered with the National Ski Patrol. Kevin is currently active in the community with Junior Achievement, where he is involved on the Northern California Advisory Board and teaches children about business and economics. He lives in Orinda with his wife and two sons.
