Mark Detmer leads the Industrial Capital Markets practice for the Western United States at JLL. With more than 22 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Mark specializes in industrial investment sales for institutional clients as well as private owners of real estate.
During his career, Mark has exclusively represented institutional owners, REITs, Sovereign Wealths and developers in the acquisition or disposition of office and industrial assets. Globally, he has completed over $390 billion in transaction volume over the past 5 years.
Mark has consistently been one of the nations top performing industrial brokers receiving a number of industry achievement awards from CoStar, Prologis, First Industrial, NAIOP, SIOR, Real Estate Forum, Cushman and Wakefield, and Trammell Crow Company. Prior to joining JLL, Mark was an Executive Director with Cushman and Wakefield and Senior Vice President with Trammell Crow Company.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pre-Med from Arizona State University. He has earned the designations of Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is also the Chairmen of the National E-Commerce Forum for National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Mark is an active member of the Industrial and Office Product Council, Red Flight, for Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a member of the Supply Chain and Logistics Group at JLL and former Secretary of the Arizona Round Table for Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
